Domestic Violence
Domestic violence of any type is unacceptable and wrong.
In any domestic violence situation, the number one priority and concern is safety. If you are in an abusive
relationship, there is help. You do not have to put up with the abuse.
It is important to note that research has demonstrated that some couples can reduce their chances of experiencing
physical aggression in their relationship by learning proven techniques that are taught by Dr. Gardner. If you
currently are having difficulty managing the conflict in your marriage and sometime worry that it may escalate into
something physical, contact us. We can help.
However, if you are in an abusive relationship right now, either physically or emotionally, you need to get out and
get help.
Call the
National Domestic Violence Hotline at
1−800−799−SAFE(7233)
or
TTY 1−800−787−3224.
It is answered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our stance is that there is no place for domestic violence in a marriage or serious relationships.
People may give reasons for it, but there is never a good excuse. If you are a victim of domestic violence, get
help. You deserve better.
